Hi! I’m India Caedmon.
I live in a wonderful hermit hole in the mountains, and math is my favorite language. My border collie, Apollo, is my spirit animal (he’s about as introverted as I am), and anything I do, he does with me. In my spare time, Apollo and I paddle board, fly planes in the backcountry, do insane amounts of yoga, and read and watch Outlander.
This is laughable, but I used to hate reading. It wasn’t until 2015 when I listened to a romance audiobook that completely changed the way I viewed fiction literature. Now, I binge on all genres, but I originally fell in love with—sigh—romance. On Valentine’s day 2017, I launched my book blog, Nom de Plume Book Review, where I review romance books and audiobooks. Shortly after creating NDP, I started reviewing romance novels professionally for various publications including RT Magazine.
Romance consumes me, and that’s not an exaggeration. Ever since that precious day in 2015, I’ve lived and breathed this genre. It didn’t surprise me at all when I woke up one morning and decided to publish a romance novel of my own.
Although my book blog encompasses the entire spectrum of heat levels, I write clean romance. So, no sex. No f-bombs. There are a few “damns” and “hells,” but there’s certainly no graphic content.
Unlike reading, I’ve always loved writing. I have an endless collection of journals documenting the people around me. Every journal filled is another volume in the library I’ve dedicated to my life, and that’s so cool to me. Being able to create something all by myself—in complete isolation—yet share it with others, and somehow feel tethered to them, fulfills me.
Since the launch of NDP, I’ve been propelled on this path that I didn’t even know existed. My list of goals on goals continues to grow as you readers inspire me. I don’t think I’d have it any other way.
