Mirror, mirror, on the wall…
Taylor Hathaway—Mitus Conglomerate’s sweet, timid event planner—has always played it safe. But when forced into the spotlight at a DC fundraiser and auctioned off to a gorgeous stranger from out of town, she makes a bold choice. No strings. No regrets. And very little sleep…
Hospitality Magnate Jagger Loving—sexy, bad boy of Loving Resorts—offers everything from exotic to erotic at his luxurious, couples-only properties. Days before the launch of his first US-based hotel, a sudden setback throws his world into chaos and the grand opening promises to be a colossal flop. In walks his short-term fix…the strikingly beautiful Taylor Hathaway. But he knows her as Raven. And that’s not all he remembers about her.
Thrust together, they can’t deny their powerful attraction. While Jagger is forced to confront past sins to save his empire, Taylor must conquer a lifetime of insecurities to ensure he succeeds. Everything hinges on trust…and the obstacles each must overcome to prove their love is eternal.
First Line: “As Jagger Loving read the online article, now trending on social media, his blood boiled.”
A couples-only resort with a lot of saucy action! Am I blushing? Yes.
Taylor Hathaway is shy, sweet and totally perfect. I want her to be my friend, and no, not just because she has direct access to the dreamiest empire of men. 😏 (Maybe a little. I’m still chanting, “Colton, Colton, Colton,” from my last Stoni Alexander read.)
Taylor channels her inner fiend and has a naughty night in heaven with the devilishly handsome Jagger. Well, she calls herself Raven at the time, a pseudonym for her wild innermost beast LOL! Event planners always seem to have exciting lives.
Raven Taylor and Jagger are opposites in every way. But together, they bring out the best in one another and Taylor does everything in her power to see Jagger succeed. Le sigh! Unconditional love! Can she call it…love?
Can someone fall that quickly? Let’s bring Jagger out into the real world and see. 😉
I don’t read novellas often, but The Loving Touch was amazing! It’s slow like a novel, but before I knew it, it was over—and so was my lunch break.
It’s short (durr it’s a novella) whooEEE but Stoni Alexander does not disappoint! I loved this piece the day I laid eyes on it. A story of transformation and trust.
ALONE WITH JAGGER.
A low rumble ripped from the back of his throat, like a growl.
He’d hid his massive ego well the night they’d met, but here, on a Loving property, he was, without question, the one in control and the one with all the power. He exuded confidence. He oozed sex appeal. And she squirmed under his commanding gaze.
The giant wall clock ticked slowly compared to her speeding heart. Should she confess? Should she apologize for not telling him her real name and for vanishing the next morning?
“I’ll need your phone number.” His words were a command, not a request. “And this time, you’re going to give it to me.” Damn if he didn’t arch his eyebrow at her.
As soon as she did, her phone buzzed.
All thumbs, Taylor fumbled in her handbag, found her phone, and read his text. “Welcome to Loving.”
“Thank you, Mr. Loving,” she murmured.
When he stepped into her personal space, her breath quickened. She wanted to nuzzle the exposed skin in the V of his white dress shirt. Those damned kissable lips would be the death of her. When she peeked up at him, he was waiting.
“Call me Jagger.” His piercing glare cut right through her. “Do you go by Taylor or is there another name you’d prefer I use?”
For a long moment, they stared into each other’s eyes as the unspoken truth danced on the tip of her tongue…
